Ross Meyer, VP Interact for Health gave our founder these words when she first opened the doors of RBC and it was clear she listened.
In the new, Holloway House we have created a few fantastic partnerships that will help to change systems and trajectories for teen parent families.
Ty was referred to Rosemary's Babies Company by a former teacher. She was working at Mcdonalds and was going to school. She was dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking. She walked into RBC with a bright light and we wanted nothing more than to help it shine brighter. That was almost five years ago. (Ty's Story)
Circumstance forced her to leave school but the will to be a good mother was the reason she went back to complete her high school diploma from Dohn High School. Soon after she completed classes and her Stated-tested Nursing Exam.
She got a car, apartment, and it seemed like an upward road towards success. Life started life-ing and at 21 found herself pregnant with a daughter; the daughter she always wanted.
Ty is a good mother. She provides for both of her children shelter, food, and more love than any kids could hold. She reads to her babies daily and breastfed to ensure they were healthy.
She currently works at a local hospital and recently was promoted. She is attending Cincinnati State to obtain her RN degree. She told Ms. Rosemary, " I am going to be like a missionary for Rosemary's babies sending all the teen moms your way."
